The FAA will host four virtual public workshops in May 2026 on the Phoenix Area FAA Modernization Project.

The project proposes new and updated satellite based flight procedures designed to enhance safety and increase efficiency at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and surrounding airports.

Pre-registration is not required. However, those who register will receive automatic email, reminders and Zoom access information. Please use the link to visit the project website to register.

Gate 1 Bypass Taxilane Rehabilitation project is complete!!🎉

SDL is excited to see the Rehabilitation of Gate 1 and Bypass Taxilane Pavement Improvement project begin!

The rehabilitation will involve milling of the pavement, repaving, and replacing the pavement markings.

The Scottsdale Airport is excited to announce the arrival of our new Assistant Aviation Director, Richard Formo.

Rich brings over 10 years of experience in the aviation industry. During his time in aviation, he has successfully transformed multiple aviation-focused company locations into profitable, excelling businesses.

Rich has been recognized throughout the industry for his safety record, customer service, and profitability and has held general manager positions in FBO’s in Arizona, Ohio, Washington and North Carolina. We are happy to have him join our Scottsdale Airport team starting in October. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Richard Formo!

Scottsdale Airport is transforming into an open-air theater once again for the return of movie night! Hosted by with support from airport partners , , and .

For our fourth movie night, we are happy to present the holiday favorite Home Alone. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and a non-perishable food item to donate to Scottsdale’s Vista del Camino food bank. Please see additional details below:
