Justin Gilgo will be your guide and take you to some great fishing spots out of Ophelia Inlet. We offer half and full day fishing trips. We offer different varieties of experiences for you to enjoy. You can fish nearshore on some great reefs for trigger fish and black sea bass, head out to the gulfstream for some mahi and tuna action or some great night fishing for some monster Red Drum. If the we
ather permits, gigging for flounder could be of interest to you. If fishing isn't your thing and you just want to spend a relaxing day on the beach and have no boat, we also transport people to and from the beach. Those are also half and full day trips. We offer a variety of Core Sound experiences for you and your family. You can walk along the beach looking for sea shells, look at our many species of birds or just relax and work on your tan. If you are afraid of getting sick and still want to fish, we can drop you off to the beach so you can fish along the shoreside for flounder or walk across the beach for some surf fishing. We take care of all of the bait, fishing tackle, fishing equipment, Ice and water for the bottom fishing and offshore trips. Only needed supplies that I recommend customers to bring are groceries such as food and drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or visor & a camera so you don't miss on those once in a lifetime moments. A cooler, umbrella and beach towels are recommended to those who want to spend the day on the beach. Those items can be requested if you don't have them at no additional costs. The campground does have a General Store if you need any of those supplies. No fishing license is required while on board. The boat has a blanket license that covers everyone on board. If you fish along the beach or in the surf, you will need a fishing license. Fishing license can also be purchased at the General Store. We are now offering clamming trips and Pelagic Gulfstream bird watching trips which is new for 2016. We teach you and show you how to catch clams on the sandy and grassy flats in Core Sound. Clamming is a fun experience for all ages. Everyone can catch up to 100 clams per person without a license and you keep what you catch. We will supply the clam rakes and we suggest bringing some type of water shoes. If you love birds, we will take you out to the gulfstream to view our Pelagic birds. We recommend that you bring binoculars and your camera. If you are someone who gets seasick, I recommend that you take medication the night before the trip and a few hours before leaving the dock. There are No Refunds for returning to the dock early because of an illness. Alcohol is permitted on board as long as you drink responsibly. No Underage Drinking Is Allowed!!! Any fishing charter can be cancelled due to inclement weather. We accept Cash, Check, Debit or all Major Credit Cards. COLTON’S TOY FISHING CHARTERS, LLC
