Help us wish Jacob Bowerman a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🎉

Jacob is one of the owners here at Bowerman Trucking, but more importantly, he’s a great friend to so many people.

He loves Jesus, duck hunting, and spending time with the people he cares about. We’re thankful for all Jacob does for Bowerman and for the people around him.

Happy Birthday, Jacob! We hope you have a great one! 🎂🦆

We’re proud to share that Bowerman Trucking has received the 2025 Platinum Workplace Safety Award from Great West Casualty Company! 🏆

The Workplace Safety Awards recognize trucking companies for their commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Awards are based on a motor carrier’s year-end workplace incident rate, with Platinum being the highest level of recognition.

We’re incredibly proud of our drivers and entire team for making safety a priority every day. This one belongs to all of you! 💚

Rafe is 6. We’ve been in the car for about 1.5 hours when he says:

“I’m tired. We’ve been driving for ages. Is this what truck drivers feel like?” 😂

We love that he’s already trying to understand the struggles of our drivers… but buddy, 90 minutes is a little different from the hours and thousands of miles our drivers put in! 😂🚛

Good thing he’s in the right family to learn a thing or two about trucking. 😉

Today, we remember and honor our Bowerman Trucking family member and driver, Douglas “Doug” Carey, who passed away July 23, 2026, at the age of 58.

Doug found his place behind the wheel, where the open road suited his independent spirit and love of trucking. He was a storyteller, a Cowboys fan, a music lover, and someone who never knew a stranger.

Our deepest condolences go out to Doug’s wife, Tami, his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. We are grateful Doug was part of the Bowerman family and will remember the miles, stories, and memories he leaves behind.

Rest easy, Doug. May the road ahead be peaceful. 💚

If you’ve worked at Bowerman Trucking, chances are you already know Carl.

For years, Carl has been a familiar face around Bowerman, building relationships with our drivers and staff and always willing to lend a hand. We’re excited to officially announce his transition into the role of Director of Safety & Operations.

When he’s not helping keep things running smoothly, you’ll likely find him duck hunting or on the golf course, though he’ll be the first to tell you he’s still working on his game. 😉

Carl shared a simple message that reflects who he is: “Assume everyone has positive intentions. Maybe you can be the difference between a good day and a great day.”

We’re excited to see him step into this new role and know he’ll continue making a positive impact on our team. Congratulations, Carl! We’re proud to have you leading the way. 💚🚛

Today, many of us get to rest, gather with family, and enjoy freedoms that were bought at a cost most of us will never fully understand.

Memorial Day is for the men and women who laid down their lives in service to this country.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

Today we honor them, and we remember them.

Included in these photos are Richard Stegall and Wayne Douglas Heathscott Sr., shared by employees and their families. We also honor the uncles of Mike Maddox, Tommy and Johnny.

If there is someone you’d like remembered today, we’d be honored for you to share their name and photo in the comments.
