Today, many of us get to rest, gather with family, and enjoy freedoms that were bought at a cost most of us will never fully understand.

Memorial Day is for the men and women who laid down their lives in service to this country.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

Today we honor them, and we remember them.

Included in these photos are Richard Stegall and Wayne Douglas Heathscott Sr., shared by employees and their families. We also honor the uncles of Mike Maddox, Tommy and Johnny.

In honor of everyone’s favorite unlucky day, we will be offering our very own Bowerman flash sheet tattoos. Designs include the Bowerman logo, lifeline, open road, truck stop coffee, and other driver inspired classics.

Prices will vary depending on size and detail. We’ll be starting bright and early and going until whenever dispatch says we’re done. As always, line work only for the basic designs. More detailed pieces will be at artist discretion.

Walk-ins only. First come, first serve.

‼️ However, in all seriousness…‼️
If you encounter someone on the yard offering tattoos, we strongly recommend you politely decline.

Bowerman does not currently offer tattoo services as part of our benefits package, and HR has asked us to stop asking.

If you failed to see this post before accepting such an offer… we suggest visiting the clinic for a dose of antibiotics.

Many of you know that our Operations Manager, Tanner Bowerman, and his wife, Morgan, experienced the heartbreaking loss of their son, Kai, at 14 weeks in September 2025.

Last night, on February 14th, they welcomed their sweet daughter, Milah, at 16 weeks. We ask for your continued prayers as they walk through another profound loss.

We also ask that you keep their children, Rafe, Camille, and Sonny, in your prayers. They were so excited to welcome their baby sister, and this loss will be especially tender for them.

Additionally, we ask for prayer for Noah and Cheyenne Bowerman, who recently experienced the loss of their little one as well.

This has been a season of deep grief for our family. Back-to-back losses carry a weight that is difficult to put into words.

While it is always our goal to keep Bowerman Trucking operating smoothly, we ask our drivers, brokers, and customers for patience and grace during this time. Our team remains committed to serving you well, and we are grateful for your understanding and support.
