* Markets, services and promotes transportation products and services.
* Develop and manage a network of outside carriers to move freight in the most profitable manner.
* Negotiate rates with customers and carriers to ensure maximum profitability.
* Meet or exceed profitability expectations.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and adequate service levels where freight is picked up and delivered using safe, reliable carriers.
* Builds freight volume from existing customers.
* Establishes and maintains a book of regular business.
* Maintain and build effective relationships with customers and carriers.

Establish & maintain a book of regular business. Solicit new sales by developing leads and cold calling potential customers. Position requires full time attendance Monday through Friday 0700 - 1630 in Searcy, AR.

Qualifications: Two years equivalent experience. An existing book of business would be most beneficial. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency. Must be willing to be on call, periodically, after normal business hours. Must have the ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers and employees and make decisions in a timely, professional manner.

It's almost time for the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance's (CVSA) 29th annual International Roadcheck, which will take place NEXT WEEK June 7-9, 2016. And this year, there’s an emphasis on tire safety.

PRE-TRIP! PRE-TRIP! PRE-TRIP!

Tire safety practices include:
* Measuring the tire tread depth
* Checking tire pressure
* Checking to make sure no items are lodged between dual tires
* Examining the overall condition of the tire to ensure no deep cuts or bulges exist in the sidewalls of the tire

Though there is an emphasis on tire safety this year, it's not all inspectors will be looking for.
