Whale shark season in Cancun is almost here 🐋

This is one of those bucket-list experiences where you get the chance to swim and snorkel alongside whale sharks north of Isla Mujeres.

The tour itself is a full-day experience and includes hotel pickup, a stop for breakfast before heading out, and then a speedboat ride out to the whale shark area.

Most tours aim for a couple of opportunities to get in the water to snorkel with them, but timing always depends on weather and sea conditions so it’s a bit of a “go with the day” kind of experience.

Afterward, you head back toward Isla Mujeres with lunch provided, and there’s usually a stop at Playa Norte before heading back to Cancun or Riviera Maya.

It’s not a “quick excursion” it’s a full experience day on the water and when it comes together, it’s something people don’t forget.

Sometimes I think people assume travel advisors just “book trips” and disappear

Meanwhile I’m:

▪️tracking flight changes before my clients even notice
▪️stalking weather patterns
▪️comparing 6 room categories that all somehow sound identical
▪️reminding people to do passport checks
▪️building destination guides

and emotionally attached to vacations I’m not even going on.

This business exists because of you. The messages, the referrals, the “we’re ready to plan again” texts, the trust you place in me to help plan your vacations, celebrations, and time away together. I don’t take that lightly.

So what the heck is sustainable travel?Honestly, it's not as complicated as it sounds.

It's not about being perfect. It's not about cutting out luxury or incredible experiences. And it's not about feeling guilty for wanting to see the world.
It's about being intentional when you do.

How you spend your money. Who you're supporting when you book. How you treat the places you visit. The small choices that add up over time. That's really it.

Happy Earth Day 💚🌎

Travel has given me some of the most unforgettable moments of my life; swimming in crystal blue water, wildlife encounters that stop you in your tracks, cultures that completely change your perspective.

And honestly? Those experiences only exist if we protect the places we love to visit.

The goal isn't perfection. It's awareness.
Because the beaches, oceans, and communities we get to explore today deserve to still be there when your kids are old enough to see them too.
