Exploring the new Wildfire and Air Quality Index maps from . In response to the wildfires ravaging the country, Gaia has created new (free) maps that source data from the EPA’s AirNow program and NASA’s MODIS satellites to provide real time and estimated next-day tracking for wildfire locations and AQI’s. If you’re planning to get out of harm’s way or spend any time in the outdoors, we highly recommend downloading the free version of their app. This will be an invaluable tool for the days and weeks ahead.
