We regret to inform you that Ballard Mailbox & Shipping Center will be CLOSED tomorrow, September 24th, 2024.
Earlier today, at around 3:45 PM, an individual entered our store, threatened our staff for over two hours, and caused significant damage by entering staff-only areas. Despite more than 30 calls to 911 from us, our neighbors, and customers, the police did not arrive until 8:05 PM, when they provided a report number.
We are taking tomorrow to assess the damage and ensure the safety of our staff before reopening. We cannot, in good conscience, ask our team to return unless the police confirm an arrest.
