Tenerife was one of the most enjoyable stops on our Transatlantic Tour. If you love shopping, the charming boutiques and shopping malls are perfect for every budget. If you love lush gardens and beautiful scenery, the island offers that as well. And if you enjoy eclectic and diverse cultures and entertainment all within a few minutes stroll, then Tenerife is a must-see island.

I know, I know!!! Don't tell me to fill out another survey!!!

But, did you know that the cabin steward who was so great to you throughout your cruise, and the table server who went out of their way to find that extra bit of candied pecans to add to your sorbet, or the waiter at the bar that called you by name each night all have a lot of their future tied to your survey? Good and bad, cruise lines depend on our surveys to make decisions about future entertainment, staff promotions, and even staff assignments.

(I don't know why I like this post so much, but it is currently one of my favorites. Please check it out.)

Guest surveys are an important way to provide feedback to the cruise line on the service provided throughout your trip.

🌹 Funchal, Portugal ❤️

We enjoyed every place we visited while on our cruise. However, Funchal is the one place that we both are determined to visit again.

Funchal, the jewel of Madeira, Portugal was the most beautiful place we had ever seen and is one location we will definitely return to.

One of the downsides of extensive travel can be the transition back to day-to-day life. As ready as you may be to be back home, it can be difficult shifting gears. While we certainly don't have all the answers, we have developed a few strategies that help us make that transition a little smoother and maybe they will work for you, too!

Do you have any other suggestions or strategies that you use? We'd love to hear them!

Returning from travel can be especially exhausting but planning can make the transition back to the day-to-day life easier and less painful.
