To say I'm excited about Holland America Line's Evolution announcement would be an understatement!

I'm proud to work for a company that is willing to invest in its product through a forward-thinking and thoughtful vision for the future. They've listened to the feedback from both our guests and our team members, focusing on the experiences people love most about cruising with us.

Next up is Zuiderdam, which will become the second of six ships in our fleet to receive this incredible transformation. I can't wait to see these exciting enhancements come to life and to share them with our guests! Sailing will be open July 30th ( sailings start Spring of 2028).

The future of Holland America Line has never looked brighter!

Holland America Line Adds More Access to Norway’s Most Iconic Fjords in 2027

Holland America Line has announced enhancements to its 2027 Norway cruise season, expanding guest access to some of the country's most celebrated fjord landscapes, including the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord region.

The updated itineraries are designed to provide longer scenic cruising experiences through Norway's dramatic waterways, allowing travelers to explore more of the country's natural beauty while visiting iconic destinations along the Norwegian coast.

Highlights of the 2027 Norway Season
Expanded fjord cruising through some of Norway's most famous waterways.
New access to the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, one of the world's narrowest and most spectacular fjords.
Enhanced scenic cruising opportunities through breathtaking landscapes featuring towering cliffs, waterfalls, and picturesque villages.
Itineraries that combine Norway's natural wonders with visits to historic coastal cities and cultural attractions.
About Nærøyfjord

Nærøyfjord is part of the West Norwegian Fjords UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for:

Steep mountains rising more than 1,700 meters (5,500 feet) above the water.
Narrow passages measuring just 250 meters (820 feet) wide at their tightest point.
Waterfalls, traditional farms, and pristine scenery that represent some of Norway's most iconic landscapes.
Why It Matters

Norway's fjords remain among the world's most sought-after cruise destinations, but environmental regulations and ship-size limitations mean access to certain fjords can be restricted. By refining its itineraries, Holland America Line aims to give guests more immersive experiences while continuing to operate within Norway's environmental guidelines.

The enhanced itineraries reinforce Holland America Line's longstanding focus on Northern Europe, offering travelers deeper exploration of one of Scandinavia's most spectacular regions.

RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay is officially open and welcoming Holland America Line guests back to one of the most beautiful private island experiences in the Caribbean! 🌴✨

Recently reopened after a major enhancement project, the island now features a more elevated and convenient guest experience while keeping its natural, untouched beauty. One of the biggest upgrades is the new cruise pier, allowing ships to dock directly instead of tendering ashore—making arrival smoother and faster for guests 🚢

Once on the island, guests can enjoy expanded beachfront areas with more space to relax, additional loungers and shaded spots, and upgraded cabana and daybed options for a more comfortable beach day 🏖️ The layout improvements also make it easier to explore the island, whether you want quiet time by the water or a livelier beach setting with music, food, and drinks nearby.

Dining and refreshment options have also been enhanced, giving guests more variety throughout the day, along with improved pathways and tram service for easier movement around the island ☀️

RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay continues to deliver the classic Holland America experience—calm turquoise water, soft white sand, and a laid-back atmosphere—now with even more convenience and comfort built in.
