ANOTHER ONE HAS ESCAPED THE STUDENT PROGRAM! congrats to Brandon on earning his A License!

The road to an A License is all about learning the important stuff: freefall, canopy control, emergency procedures… and apparently, which areas are actually approved for landing. 😂

Brandon explored a few alternative landing options on his journey, but he’s now officially licensed, fully dangerous, and hopefully committed to sticking with the proper landing area from here on out. Now go send it… but maybe check the winds and landing pattern first.

Nick Fener has made over 7500 skydives in the last 23 years.
He says swooping is the best part of any skydive, but Nick also enjoys freeflying, movement jumps, and shooting video for his Mixed Formation team SDC MatriX.
He enjoys lifting weights, playing golf, and cold plunging for 6 minutes in 38* water every morning.

Invasion XXI Lineup: Presenting Joey Baker

Joey Baker is a professional pilot, having accumulated over 7000 flight hours. He was once a pilot for the US Army Golden Knights and now flies 747s globally. Joey’s skydiving journey began in 2000 at Skydive Crosskeys, he’s completed over 6500 jumps. He also co-founded SDC MatriX, a mixed formation skydiving team that operates between Skydive Sebastian and Skydive Chicago. MatriX is a prominent figure in the MFS community, actively working to broaden the discipline to all levels of skydivers.  Here’s a fun tidbit: despite his extensive flying experience, Joey has never taken off solo in an aircraft; he’s only landed alone.

Invasion XXI Lineup: Presenting Lindsay Fener

Lindsay Fener has been skydiving for 22 years with over 6,000 jumps. Her home DZ’s are Skydive Sebastian and Skydive Chicago.
Long-time AFF-I turned competitor, she’s spent the last 6 years as the Primary Head-Up and Belly flyer for Mixed Formation team SDC MatriX.
She is known for nurturing safety culture and awareness in those around her and enjoys sharing her knowledge of Mixed Formation Skydiving through the events she hosts year-round.
If she’s not on the DZ, you’ll probably find her at the gym.
