Downsizing, hitting the road, and proving every mile… It Will Be Fine. We’re Glenn & Karen — married 39 years, best friends forever, and finally stepping into a chapter we’ve dreamed about for decades. After serving 20 years in the United States Air Force, and then 15 years in Federal service, Glenn recently retired. With both of us now 58, we decided it was the perfect time to simplify, reset, an
d begin our long-awaited adventure into full-time RV living. As we downsize our sticks-and-bricks life and prepare to roll out in our Fleetwood Discovery LXE — lovingly named Sterling — we’re documenting every step of the journey. From letting go of the things we no longer need, to preparing our home for sale, to learning the rhythm of life on the road, we want to share the real moments: the lessons, the laughs, the challenges, the wins, and the miles ahead. The RV community is filled with amazing people, including many fellow veterans and public servants. To all of you — thank you for your service.
