Not every summer vacation has to be a week long affair, sometimes you only have a long weekend and these destinations are perfect for that!

Somewhere along the way, people started treating summer travel like a competition to see who could tolerate the most heat.

Crowded beaches.
100° days.
Running from one air-conditioned building to the next.

But lately?
More people are asking for trips that actually feel good.

Cool mornings.
Windows open at night.
Long days outside without feeling exhausted by the weather.

For a honeymoon or milestone anniversary, I’d rather book one extraordinary hotel than five “good enough” ones.

The kind of place where:

Tuscany isn’t meant to be rushed.

It’s meant for slow mornings, long lunches, and evenings that stretch out over wine and conversation.

Not three cities in five days.
Not a schedule you’re trying to keep up with.

Just one place—done really well.

You wake up slowly.
Maybe there’s a winery lunch, maybe a hill town to wander…

Everyone goes to Santorini. And yes, it’s stunning. But it’s also crowded, expensive, and the famous infinity pool photos? There are 200 people waiting to take the same one. 😅

Let me introduce you to Milos. 🌊
Volcanic rock formations that look like another planet. Beaches with water so clear it doesn’t seem real — Sarakiniko, Kleftiko, Papafragas. A tiny fishing village called Klima where the boathouses are painted in every colour imaginable.

Half the tourists. A third of the price. All of the magic.
Couples who go to Milos never want to leave. And they always come back.
