996 race exhaust all tacked together. Client requested basic aluminized exhaust tubing for this project. 18lbs total. 2.5” from flanges to a custom crossover. Then to basic 3” circle track style race mufflers and 3” tips. Will test fit this coming week locate where the 02 bungs need to go and also make sure it clears everything. Can’t wait to hear this one!!!

Finally got the last few details of my s54 subframe and oil pan modification sorted out today. Added a jack point (which makes life so much easier), welded sway bar brackets to the frame but they can optionally be thru bolted and I also noted future adjustments I will make to improve the product. Pan wound up taking 6.5qt on a oil change which is about 1qt over factory s54 volume which is always good.

Update on S54 oil pan and subframe details: As for the subframe specs it is cut and reinforced with 1/8 plate, the cross member is 1.75x.095 DOM tubing, steering rack mounts are 3/16 steel. HD subframe adds 2 additional mounting points at the fire wall and is thru bolted to frame (Oil pan has to be shaved slightly on a corner to clear these) Sway bar mounts are a boxed in design that are wither thru bolted or welded just in front of the subframe to the frame rail. This takes additional stress of the subframe. Oil pan is modified using 3/16” thick 5052 aluminum. All pans are bolted down with a sealed gasket to a flat surface and pressure tested to ensure there are no pin holes or any chances there could be a oil leak. Oil capacity is approximately .75qt greater than factory. I will get better pictures soon. I didn’t have the time or space completely pull my drivetrain again. If you are willing to provide detailed pictures of install with the car up on a lift or anything like that Im sure I can work out some sort of credit back to you. If there are any detailed pics you want just let me know.

Parts I need from you
1. Oil Pan. Include one of the m6x100mm long rear oil pan bolts. (Needs to be installed before expansion tank.
2. Subframe. Complete or cut just outside of steering rack mounts.
3. Dipstick tube
4. Oil drain tube
5. Sway bar mount you will be using if different than oem.

Additional info needed:
1. I will also need to know what steering rack you are planning on using as the mounts are different from the e0 to e36/e46.
2. Thru bolt or weld on sway bar mounts

Price is $800+shipping for standard mods
$850 for the HD subframe.
$20 for subframe jack point added (pics coming soon)

Operation race pan is well under way for the s54 e30. Hard to say exactly because of the funky cuts but I’m thinking I’ll hold about 1.75qts of oil over oem. Will be selling s54 pans and subframes shortly for the e30. Had to go back to the drawing board a bit for the e30 swap but I’m super happy with how this revised setup is turning out so far.
