not get enough of walking with OPE last weekend at Island Hopping? join us Saturday for one of our best YREs at Lake Crescent on the Spruce RR Trail with its two refurbished tunnels and the Devils Punchbowl. meet us at Blackbird Coffeehouse 8:45-9:00 (great snax & coffee) to register and drive out to the trailhead. I have already arranged with the weather gods for the rain to hold off - it’s Washington after all.

Lines at the Friday Harbor ferry have been long - give yourself some time to park and get tickets.
We will be on the 9:00 ferry in the galley.

Now, what was going on next weekend?

Oh, yeah …

ISLAND HOPPING with the Olympic Peninsula Explorers! Come walk our three far north YREs and a special new walk!

Group walks:
Friday 24th 9:00 Anacortes downtown (The Market parking lot 1519 Commercial Ave)
Friday 24th 1:00 Anacortes Tommy Thompson Trail (The Market parking lot)
Saturday 25th 8:40 ferry to Friday Harbor
Sunday 26th 8:30 Guemes Island (ferry parking 1708 6th - start will be manned 8:30-10:30). NEW WALK!

All walks on OSB until Aug. 2 and will be available for registration at the group walks.

Gardiner Troll Walk weekend is finally here!

Walks and bike are available on OSB for two weeks (until May 10). We will be at Gardiner Community Center May 2 & 3 8:00-1:00 with stickers and old-school stamps.

GROUP WALKS:
Friday May 1 - 9:30 - Bike ride (10/16/25 km). Meet at GCC.

Saturday May 2 - 9:30 - Gardiner Troll, Trees, & Honor walk (5/6/10 km). [I realize we need a better event namer.] Meet at GCC.

Sunday May 3 - 9:30 - Miller Peninsula State Park (5/10 km). Discover Pass needed for parking (kiosk @ parking area). Bring walking stick and sturdy shoes. Meet @ Miller Peninsula SP parking lot.
