The Smokies are staying open your UTV adventure is still on!

Friends of the Smokies and a partnership of state and local groups will continue to provide funding to ensure Great Smoky Mountains National Park remains open with basic visitor services and limited staffing through Jan. 4, 2026, amid the ongoing government shutdown. The latest agreement allows the popular Cades Cove Loop Road to remain open to the public along with all visitor centers and picnic areas that are normally open this time of year. The Cades Cove Loop Lope will also proceed as planned on Nov. 9. The Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion has rolled into Pigeon Forge this weekend and we’re right in the middle of it all! 🐾🔥

From guided trail rides and the huge Jeep Show at the LeConte Center (Aug 21–23, 9AM–5PM) to epic after parties, BBQs, and late-night Jeep runs down the Strip 🌙🎶 — the Smokies are buzzing with Jeep life.
