Hi Everyone,

I know there have been so many questions regarding refunds from Catawese. At this time I will not have any updates moving forward since there was no will and no one became administrator of the estate. Catawese is permanently closed and unfortunately will not be reopening. The only advice I am able to give is to watch in the local paper under public notices to see if any companies open a claim against the estate, hopefully then others can also file a claim against the estate. I know this is not the news anyone (including every former employee) wanted, but unfortunately Billy did not have anything in writing. I want to apologize deeply to everyone affected by this outcome and I really hope in some way, everyone can be reimbursed for their losses.

Although I am no longer an employee of what once was Catawese Coach Lines, I wanted to make sure I at least made a final post to let you all know the only information I have(which is probably no more then you already knew).

It was my pleasure working with you all and meeting some of you. I truly hope everything gets made right, you ALL deserve at least that.

With an extremely heavy heart,
Catawese Coach Lines shut its doors yesterday.
I will miss working with each and every one of the customers and it has been my pleasure.

Effective immediately, all charters and tours are cancelled. I understand many of you had bookings with us and I understand how frustrating it is to not know what the next steps are.

If and when I get any information for you all, I will post any and all updates here. The building is closed, so no phone calls can or will be answered. Please make sure to check this page for any updates.

Again, I am truly sorry for this huge inconvenience brought onto many of you.

It is with such a heavy heart, we share the passing of William Milbrand, owner of Catawese Coach Lines.
Billy was one of a kind, with the biggest heart. He was always there in any situation to lend a helping hand. Aside from owning Catawese, he was a firefighter, the chief of the independence fire company and a board member, he was at one time the Mayor of Shamokin, he was on city council, he took care of the Shamokin cemetery, he was highly involved with the church, and his passion was with our local community band since a very young age, in the steps of his father. And boy oh boy did he love everything and anything involving trains! This was a sudden loss and we want to extend our condolences to his family, his friends and his community. Billy will forever remain in our hearts and memories.
