When new meets old. 🇺🇸🚁✈️
Today we welcomed this U.S. Coast Guard helicopter to Lake Breeze Aviation, where it shared the ramp with some legendary warbirds. It's not every day you get to see decades of aviation history parked side by side.
Let's just say Jesse was pretty excited to see this one roll in. 😄

**C-54 Skymaster “Spirit of Freedom” touches down at KSBM**

This legendary Douglas transport--veteran of airlifts, presidential service, and now preserved in USAF markings--made a smooth arrival on the Sheboygan ramp. Four radial engines, classic lines, and real history rolling right up to the Aviation Heritage Center.

She'll be open for tours this week. Be sure to also catch some T-28 Trojan Warbirds practicing their formations for EAA, explore a restored 1941 Douglas DC-3, and enjoy brats, burgers, and concessions at the Sheboygan Rotary Club fundraiser this weekend. All to support local youth programs.

Free admission. Family-friendly.

One of my favorite things about working at Lake Breeze is the people.
There are certain names that pop up on the schedule that immediately make me smile, and the Sak family is definitely one of them. Mr. Sak is hilarious, and Bobby is incredibly talented.

This weekend, Bobby took home 1st Place at the June Sprints, and we couldn't have been happier for him.
It's amazing how people you only see a few times a year can become such a memorable part of your job. We are so fortunate to have amazing pilots, passengers, and tenants who make Lake Breeze such a special place.

Congratulations, Bobby! Well deserved. See you in a few months. 🏁

Even if the weather hasn’t quite gotten the memo yet 😅☁️… summer operations are officially taking off at Lake Breeze Aviation! ✈️☀️

Beginning May 15th, we’ll be transitioning to extended summer hours as we gear up for another busy season on the ramp. We’re looking forward to another great summer of providing the best service possible to our passengers, pilots, crews, and tenants. ✈️
