Frontier Trading Company was originally founded by Mike and Ronda Witt in 2007. A company started with the idea of core family values and hard work being the back bone of the operation. Since then it has grown to include their oldest son Michael and his wife Hanna; they have a son Lucas who is involved with everything from making hauls with Daddy in the "Big Truck" to working on trailers on the we

ekends (he is only 5). Also, Mike and Ronda's youngest son and his wife, Charles and Victoria, have become crucial to the daily operation. As time went by the boys decided to try their hand in trucking. Since 2013 our fleet has grown from one truck to thirteen. We are very blessed to be able to have our business thriving and still lean on our family values, hard work and most importantly our abundant blessings from God. Class A CDL Curtain Van & Flatbed Drivers Wanted

Frontier Trading Company Inc. is looking for experienced Class A CDL drivers to join our team in our Curtain Van and Flatbed divisions.

Driver Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience
Clean and acceptable driving record
No DUI/DWI convictions
No major or serious traffic violations
No speeding violations of 15 MPH or more over the posted speed limit
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be able to pass required DOT drug and alcohol testing
Must be dependable, professional, and safety-conscious
Job Responsibilities

Curtain Van and Conestoga drivers will be responsible for:

Opening and closing curtain-side and Conestoga trailers
Properly strapping and securing freight
Installing corner boards as required
Inspecting loads to ensure proper load securement
Safely operating equipment in rain, snow, ice, and other inclement weather
Chaining when required by road or weather conditions
Maintaining a professional attitude and following all company and DOT safety requirements
Flatbed Driver Responsibilities

Flatbed drivers must also be comfortable with:

Tarping loads
Strapping and securing various types of freight
Working safely around loading and unloading operations
Properly inspecting and securing loads before departure

We are looking for 2 qualified and professional Class A CDL drivers for a flatbed and curtain van position, we operate in the 11 western states with options to go out further, we require a clean driving record and drug test as well as 2 years of truck driving experience.

We do require at least one week on the road at a time, we can do weekends home or stay out longer.
