Big G Express formed an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in 2009 and became 100% Employee Owned! Big G Express employees receive contributions of company stock each year based on their years of service and compensation (no money out of the employee's pocket). Employee retirement accounts have increased significantly as more shares have been contributed annually and the Big G Express Stock price has increased from $5.88 a share in 2009 to $64.49 a share in 2020. Big G Express employee owners have a real stake in the success of the business!

Congratulations Charlie Hall | Driver of The Month August 2026

Starting his driving career in 1999, Charlie has spent 27 years behind the wheel, hauling everything from dry vans to flatbeds and heavy haul.

After a short time with U.S. Xpress, he joined Big G Express, where he is now going on 12 years!

What he appreciates most about Big G is the people — being seen, valued, and appreciated, and feeling like part of a family. Driver Appreciation is one of the times that means the most to him. ❤️

When he’s not driving, he enjoys fishing and visiting Universal Studios with his grandkids. He also stays busy at home in Florida with his Chihuahua, cats and recently added chickens! 🐶🐱🐔

His advice to fellow drivers: Be patient, don’t get ahead of yourself, check your freight, watch your surroundings, be kind to customers and treat the company like it’s your own.

Thank you for nearly 12 years with Big G! We appreciate you! 👏🚛
