CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL

TJ has been a Perfect Shine customer for over five years, and when he was considering purchasing a used boat with significant oxidation and gel coat damage, he reached out to Andrew before even making an offer.

Andrew inspected the boat with him, explained what it would take to restore it, and assured him the damage could be repaired. Once TJ purchased the boat, we picked it up that same day and got to work! We kept him updated throughout the process, and when he got it back, he said it looked even better than showroom condition!

Over the years, TJ has referred many friends and neighbors to us, and we couldn't be more appreciative of his continued trust and support. Thank you, TJ, for letting us share your experience!

We're based in Shell K**b and serve all of Table Rock Lake with detailing, gel coat correction, fiberglass repair, and more. Need help with transportation? We can help with that, too!

This 2010 Cobalt 232 came to us with some pretty serious fiberglass damage on the hull, and the difference speaks for itself!

We repaired the damaged area, refinished it, and got everything cleaned back up like it should be. We were also able to get it turned around quickly so the customer could get back on the water without being down any longer than necessary.

Fiberglass damage is one of those things you don’t want to let sit. What starts as one damaged area can turn into a much bigger repair, so we always recommend getting it looked at as soon as you can.

We’re based in Shell K**b and work with boat owners all across Table Rock Lake. Whether you have your own trailer or need help with transportation, we can help get your boat into the shop and get the job done right.

At the end of the day, our customers are always the priority. We want every customer to know their time matters, their boat is in good hands, and we’re going to do everything we can to make the process as easy as possible.

Not every chip or crack in your gelcoat needs the same level of urgency.

One of the first things we look at when inspecting gelcoat damage is where it is on the boat: above or below the waterline.

Damage below the waterline is something you don’t want to ignore. If the gelcoat is damaged enough to expose the fiberglass underneath, water can work its way into those layers and cause the damaged area to crack, flake, or delaminate further over time.

Above the waterline, it’s usually a different story. Without water constantly moving across the damaged area, there’s less concern about water intrusion. Unless something like a dock or fender continues rubbing against it, repairing that damage may be more of a cosmetic decision than an immediate priority.

Bottom line: if you can see exposed fiberglass below the waterline, we recommend getting it looked at and repaired as soon as you can.

Not sure what you’re looking at? Send us a few pictures. We’ll tell you what it needs.

We’re based in Shell K**b and work with boat owners all across Table Rock Lake, so whether you have your own trailer or need help figuring out the logistics, reach out and we’ll go from there.

This BEAUTIFUL Chevy Silverado came in for a full detail and ceramic coating. We got it cleaned up inside and out, and the ceramic coating really brought out the shine while giving the paint long-term protection and making it easier to keep clean.

We had a lot of fun working on this one and getting it looking its best! We know our customers work hard for the things they have, and we always appreciate the trust they put in us to take care of what matters to them.
