And THAT’S A WRAP!!!
Our October fly in was a huge success—perfect weather, amazing turnout and Judy’s Famous Chili hit the spot! The Cassville Cruisers brought an incredible lineup of vehicles and as always THE PLANES were the best part!! Thank you pilots! Big THANK YOU to our October raffle donors—39 Grill and The Rib Steak House! Congratulations to Mary Christie who was the winner of the Henry 410 shotgun drawing!! Thank you Brad Livengood for heading up our very first gun raffle! Thank you Dave Williams and Gary Stuteville for parking our planes!!! Lynn Fritts Bagby and Marge Fritts for working the tables!!! Thank you Central Crossing Fire Protection District, Shell K**b, MO!
As our 2025 season comes to an end we have so many to thank!!
Judy and her Fly In Floozies! Bert Sage, Marge Fritts, Jeanne Lawrence, Diane Westoff, Gana Honn, Candy Cloud, Lila Casey and Chloe Gibbons! These wonderful ladies fed thousands of patrons this summer!!
Huge thank you to hangar owners on AirPort Rd—Chuck Singleton, Brian Virginia, Kelly Nichols and many others who have had airplane and car parking overflow!! Greatly appreciated! Neighbors, family and friends who donated their time and energy all summer-these fly ins are successful because of your dedication and support!
We hosted six fly ins this season-the first Saturday of each month, May-October-and every one was a celebration of aviation, community and fun! Thank you to everyone who made Turkey Mountain Airport the place to be in Shell K**b, home of Missouri’s longest grass runway! See you all in 2026!! Until then, blue skies and tailwinds to all!
