Lincoln County Connections made the ITD Hall of Fame AND the front cover of the 2026–2027 Public Transportation Calendar! 🏆

Jessica and I learned so much, made some amazing connections, and coming home ready for what’s next.

Public transportation is more than a ride. It connects people to jobs, medical care, education, groceries, family and opportunities. In rural communities like ours, transportation can be the difference between having access and going without.

Thank you to everyone who rides with us, supports us and believes in what we’re doing.

Awesome stuff is coming for Lincoln County Connections… just you wait. 🚌💙

🎡 Skip the Walk & Ride in Comfort! 🚐❄️

Lincoln County Connections is offering COMPLIMENTARY rides during Shoshone Arts in the Park!

📍 Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (or as long as we’re getting riders!)
📍 Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (or as long as we’re getting riders!)

We’ll be providing FREE rides between the Fairgrounds and the Courthouse Lawn all weekend long!

👋 Walking and see one of our vehicles? Flag us down! If we have room, we’ll gladly give you a ride.

☀️ Beat the heat, relax in an air-conditioned vehicle, and save your energy for enjoying all the amazing vendors, food, music, and activities at Shoshone Arts in the Park.

📢 Important Notice from Lincoln County Connections

Lincoln County Connections will be closed for scheduled maintenance July 9th through July 19th.

This temporary closure will allow us to complete important maintenance so we can continue providing safe, reliable transportation to our community.

🚌 We will reopen with regular service on Monday, July 20th.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. If you need transportation before the closure, please call ahead to schedule your ride.

We want our community to truly understand what Lincoln County Connections is and how it operates.

We are almost entirely grant and donation funded, with only a very small portion of funding coming from rider fares.

All of our vans and buses have been made possible through support from the Idaho Transportation Department—either donated or leased to us—along with ongoing grants and partnerships with organizations such as Mountain Rides and others.

Our goal is simple:
to provide this service to our community while keeping the cost to the county as low as possible—if not completely covered through outside funding.

We are always working to secure new grant opportunities so we can continue to grow, provide more rides, and keep costs affordable for everyone.

Every single ride we provide directly impacts someone in our community—
children, adults, and the elderly.

We help connect people to the social determinants of health, including:
• Medical and dental appointments
• Grocery stores and essential errands
• Employment and education
• Community resources and support systems

This is more than transportation.
This is access, independence, and support for our community.

We also want to recognize and thank Rebecca Wood and Karma Fitzgerald for the role they have played in helping build and shape this program into what it is today. Their support and leadership have made a lasting impact on our community.
