The National EMS Pilots Association (NEMSPA) is accepting nominations for the William T. Winn Lifetime Achievement Award and the Pilot of the Year. Metro's very own Bobby King from PennSTAR Flight was the recipient of the 2025 Pilot of the Year award.

Some calls come in and you know exactly what you're walking into. Others surprise you. On Friday, TGH Aeromed answered the call to transport critically injured K9 officer ACE, allowing him to receive life-saving emergency care. He is already home recovering so he can enjoy retirement. Great job to Pilot Chad Loftin, Chief Flight Nurse Tracy Sanderson, and Flight Paramedic Kenny Switzer.
