Trails don't maintain themselves, let's fix.

Today, Tue, 5:30p — Mobile Drive TH (32.753028, -108.269864)

Great Divide riders and locals recently/temporarily lost a critical trail link on the San Vicente RR Grade Tr due to private property conflicts — but we're not here to whine about it. Instead of an easy cruise on a flat rail grade, riders south of town along the San Vicente Creek drainage are now routed onto occasionally rough singletrack. This section is mostly rideable and flowy, but the southern end has a noteworthy stretch with some fairly sketchy drop-offs towering above the creek.

Tour Divide racers are starting to roll through — grinding 200+ miles a day right through our backyard. Let's use that as a good excuse to go improve some of our own trails.

It's likely going to be HOT. Load up on water, throw on an ice bandana, and dress for the desert sun. Eric will be there with extra tools — got diggin' tools? Bring 'em.

Raide: that forward-thinking, product-first running company that pops up all over the place online, but only occasionally in-store. The finest gear always disappears when you use it, and Raide gear does just that. It feels like some small Gila high-desert miracle that we were able to snag a few of their new new 5L vests, in this here store now (only Sm/Med sizes tho. Whomp, whomp). Yes: this is also the lightest running/biking vest out there.

After selling out of our last batch of Raide 2L running belts, we are psyched to have another batch fresh-in. Fit 2 soft flasks, a phone, some gels, etc; snug the straps, and this thing DOES NOT MOVE. Into using collapsible Z-poles? Straps along the back can handle those too. There are at least a trillion other running belts out there these days, but good luck finding one that can carry this much, but also doesn't stretch out over time.
