Huge thanks to everyone who donated to our drive for Hurricane Helene! We still have room for more, so we will be back at the Wilmot Fire Station tomorrow (Sunday, 10/13) from 10 am until noon. Stop by and see us if you can!

We are working with the Salem Lakes Area Business Owners Association and Journey Disaster Response Team to send a semi trailer load of supplies down to Hurricane Helene survivors in Tennessee and North Carolina. We will be collecting donations this Saturday (October 12) from 10 am-2 pm at the Wilmot Fire Station in Wilmot, WI. Please review the pictured flyer for details. We talked with first responders on the ground in and around Buncombe County, North Carolina (Asheville area) to find out what items they need most. Please note that we were specifically asked not to send any used clothing, blankets or sleeping bags. We are hoping the truck will roll out Sunday (10/13) late afternoon/early evening. If anyone is willing to help sort and load donations on Saturday or Sunday please PM Erin Douglas (please see comment section as the tag doesn't seem to be working here). We would also welcome donations of large boxes and any leads on where to get gaylords or pallet/skid boxes to facilitate donation packing and delivery. Thanks!
