Immediate Openings! Prairie States Trucking/XL Enterprises is a family owned company specializing in hauling aggregates to a wide range of construction projects.
We are looking to hire Class A CDL Drivers to pull single side dumps, belly dumps and pneumatic tank trailers. $20.00+ per hour starting wage depending on experience.
Location: Based in Sioux Falls, SD but must be ok with occasional overnight travel, roughly 15 to 20 overnight stays a season. Per diem is paid to drivers to help with lodging.
Job Type: Full-time with some weekends
LICENSES: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class CDL A).
Experience: Experience operating a side dump preferred.
Salary: $20-22 /hour, consistent hours, weekly pay with overtime.

Perform various maintenance tasks and trouble shooting on a variety of equipment such as; Semi-Tractors, front end loaders, motor graders, skid steers, milling equipment, street brooms, crushing and mining equipment, etc.

Diagnose and repair; engine, transmission, a/c systems, hydraulic systems, drive lines, differentials, electrical systems, etc.

Comply with company safety policies.

Complete work orders, check lists and maintain proper maintenance records.

Complete DOT inspections and make proper repairs if issues are found.

Ability to be a self starter and self managed a must, willingness to help others is a must.

Communicate to supervisor if repairs cannot be made in a standard amount of time.

Make sound financial decisions when ordering parts or supplies.

Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns as needed.

Must be able to lift heavy objects as needed, job environment is in a shop or outside of shop on jobsite, ability to work in varying weather conditions a must.

Position is M-F, hours 7 am to 6 pm, some emergency breakdowns or work loads could vary those hours. Some Saturdays may be necessary.
