Collaboration in Motion: ND and SD Crews Unite on Rail Expansion! 🚂💨

Our Ellis & Eastern Rail Services crews are four weeks into this rail expansion project, and the collaboration has been seamless!

Led on-site by foreman Miguel Garza this joint team—bringing together our expert crews from both North Dakota and South Dakota-has made incredible progress on the 17,000-foot track expansion, including 3 turnouts and 240 feet of crossings.

This collaborative approach isn't just about finishing the project; it's about leveraging our regional expertise to build stronger infrastructure throughout the rural Dakotas. With just a couple of weeks to go, we're proud of the hard work this team has displayed.

The 2025–2026 NAMRC season wrapped up on Monday with Ellis and Eastern team members Jerry Hegstrom and Justin Pearson taking home the trophy at the annual golf tournament in beautiful Stillwater, MN. It was a fantastic day on the course, offering chances to connect with friends, colleagues, and industry partners.
