Another big job in the shop! 🔧

This time we’re replacing the heater core and evaporator core on a Ford Expedition.

These repairs are much more time-consuming than most because the dashboard has to come out, but it’s nothing we can’t handle here at Finger Lakes Automotive & Marine.

❄️ A/C not blowing as cold as it should? We’ve got you covered! ❄️

At Finger Lakes Automotive & Marine, we service both R-1234YF and R-134a air conditioning systems.

Today’s project is this Jeep Grand Cherokee. The A/C was blowing cold, but not cold enough. We’re recovering the refrigerant and measuring both the refrigerant and oil in the system to verify the correct charge and determine if there’s a leak before making any repairs.

Looks like it’s heater core & evaporator core week here at Finger Lakes Automotive & Marine! 🔧

Today we’re tackling a 2016 Cummins, replacing both the heater core and evaporator core. It’s a big job that requires removing much of the dashboard, but we take the time to do it right so our customers can get back on the road with reliable heat and A/C.
If your vehicle has:
• Little or no heat
• A sweet coolant smell inside the cab
• Fogging windows
• Coolant leaks on the passenger floor
• Weak or warm A/C

It may be time to have your heater core or evaporator checked.
