FMCSA Updates Crash Preventability Program

The FMCSA has expanded its Crash Preventability Determination Program, giving carriers more ways to challenge non-preventable crashes and improve safety scores. With an updated list of eligible crash types—including rear-end collisions, crashes caused by impaired drivers, and incidents with animals—carriers can now request a review through the DataQs system.
