10 Things to do the week before you cruise!

1. Pack early. Try a few things on, check the weather, grab stuff you forgot.

2. Check-In Online. Do your research, get comfortable in the cruise line app. TRIPLE-CHECK your documents! - I can’t stress this enough. Luggage tags, passport is easily accessible, etc.

3. Put everything important in one place - have back-ups printed like boarding passes, etc.
4. Get your home ready for your return - no one wants to come home to a kitchen sink full of dirty dishes or a fridge full of expired food. Take an hour, clean up.

5. Sort your money - and avoid card issues: call your bank and let them know you’re traveling, make sure you understand and foreign transaction fees and have some cash on hand.

6. Finalize your plan for each port: which ports you’re visiting, which excursions are worth booking in advance

7. Book anything you really don’t want to miss onboard - in Advance: specialty dining, shows, spa treatments

8. Double check your transportation to the port: make sure you know how you’re getting to the port, how long it will take, exactly where you need to go. A bit of planning removes a lot of day-one stress

9. Stock up on medications and essentials- pain meds, seasickness remedies, prescriptions

10. Get a good nights sleep before travel day. Set multiple alarms and wake up at least an hour earlier than you planned in case time gets away from you.
