🚛💙 A GREAT DAY WITH THE HT CREW! 💙🚛
Today we got to do one of our favorite things — put the trucks in park, slow down for a few hours, and spend some time together outside of the day-to-day hustle of trucking.
Our Hansford Trucking Driver Appreciation Cookout was filled with good food, plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and of course… a few rounds of DIRTY TRUCKER for prizes. 😂🎁🚛
We’re thankful for every driver who was able to join us today and for the families who came out to celebrate with us. And to the members of our HT crew who couldn’t be there — you were missed, but you definitely weren’t forgotten! 💙
As Hansford Trucking continues to grow, days like today are a good reminder that this company is about so much more than trucks and freight.
It’s about people.

We’ve spent this week celebrating the people who keep Hansford Trucking moving — and today we finally get to celebrate them together!

It’s HT Driver Appreciation Cookout Day! 💙🖤

Today is about good food, good company, a few prizes, plenty of laughs and most importantly — showing our drivers and their families just how much we appreciate having them as part of the Hansford Trucking team.

We’re looking forward to putting the trucks in park for a little while and spending the afternoon with our HT family. ❤️🚛

It’s Friday of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, and we’ve spent all week talking about the hard work, skill and dedication it takes to do this job. Today? We’re having a little fun. 😏
You know you’re a truck driver when…
🚛 You can tell someone exactly where the good truck stops are three states away.
🚛 “Just a quick load/unload” immediately makes you suspicious. 😂
🚛 You’ve backed a 53-foot trailer into a spot that apparently was designed by someone who has never seen a 53-foot trailer.
🚛 You know every pothole, construction zone and speed trap on your regular route.
🚛 You hear “I’ll have you out of here in 20 minutes” at a dock and know better than to make plans. 🤣
🚛 You’ve had a four-wheeler cut in front of you, slam on the brakes and somehow still believe YOU were the problem.
🚛 Your truck has been your office, dining room, bedroom and occasionally your place to question every life decision that led you to that particular loading dock. 😂

And finally…

🚛 You can complain about trucking all day long — but let somebody who has never driven a truck start talking about how “easy” the job is…
Now we’ve got a problem. 🤣🤣

💙🖤 A MESSAGE FROM TODD & WENDY
As Hansford Trucking continues to grow, there’s something we never want to lose sight of:
The people who help us grow with it.
When you own a trucking company, it’s easy to talk about trucks, loads, customers and miles. But none of those things mean much without good people behind the wheel.
We know what we ask of our drivers.
We know there are long days, frustrating docks, changing plans, traffic, breakdowns and times when the job simply doesn’t go the way anyone hoped it would.
We also know that every time one of our trucks pulls onto the highway, our drivers are carrying more than freight — they’re carrying the Hansford Trucking name with them.
And we don’t take that lightly.
We’re proud of the company we’re building, but we’re even more proud of the team helping us build it.
To each of our drivers: Thank you for trusting us with your livelihood, for taking care of our equipment and our customers, and for representing HT with pride.
We appreciate the work you do, the sacrifices your families make, and the role each of you plays in where Hansford Trucking is headed.
We may not say it every day, but please know — we see it, we appreciate it, and we couldn’t do this without you.

🚛📊 TRUCKING BY THE NUMBERS
80,000 lbs. — The potential weight they’re responsible for moving safely down the highway.
53 feet. — The trailer they maneuver into places that sometimes look like they were designed for a pickup truck. 😂
11 hours. — The maximum driving time allowed in a day under federal hours-of-service rules.
14 hours. — The window they have to get the job done once their workday starts.
Hundreds of miles. — Often covered before most of us have finished everything on our own to-do list.
But there’s one number that matters most to us…
OUR DRIVERS. 💙🖤
Because trucks, trailers, freight and miles are just numbers without the people behind the wheel making it all happen.
Every load delivered represents hours of work, responsibility, patience, skill and commitment — and we’re proud of the team representing Hansford Trucking on highways across this country every day. 🇺🇸

🚛 WHAT PEOPLE DON’T SEE…
Most people see a truck rolling down the interstate.
They see 80,000 pounds of truck and freight taking up a little extra room on the highway.
But what they don’t see is everything that goes into getting that truck — and that load — safely from Point A to Point B.
They don’t see the pre-trip before the sun comes up.
The hours spent waiting at a dock.
The tight backing situations that somehow still expect a 53-foot trailer to fit. 😅
The traffic, construction, weather and detours.
The clocks and deadlines that never seem to care what happened along the way.
They don’t see the meals eaten in the truck, the nights spent away from home, the missed family time, or the driver checking in with home from hundreds of miles away.
They don’t see the responsibility that comes with controlling a rig weighing up to 80,000 pounds while sharing the road with people who sometimes forget just how much room a truck needs to stop.
And after all of that?
The load still has to get there. Safely. Professionally. On time.
That’s the part of trucking most people never see.
But we do.
To our Hansford Trucking drivers — we see the work you put in, the challenges you handle, and the sacrifices you and your families make to keep those wheels turning.

This week, we’re putting the focus where it belongs — on the men and women behind the wheel.
Truck driving is more than a job. It’s early mornings and late nights. It’s long stretches of highway, changing schedules, traffic, weather, deadlines, and time spent away from home and family. It takes skill, patience, responsibility, and a whole lot of dedication.
At Hansford Trucking, we know that our trucks don’t move, our customers don’t get served, and our company doesn’t grow without the drivers sitting behind those wheels.
We are incredibly grateful for the team we have today and proud of the people who represent Hansford Trucking every time they hit the road.
