📞 225-675-6237 Clint Gaudet graduated from St. Amant High School in 1990. His father was an outboard motor dealer. He would work with his father on weekends building wooden skiffs as a hobby. He enjoyed working on the boats and the feeling of pride and accomplishment once the boats were finished. He was looking

at a friend’s boat one day and thought that he could build that type of boat. He built his first boat in 1991 in his grandmother’s garage for his own use. Someone saw the boat, liked the craftsmanship in it, but wanted a bigger boat. Clint decided to sell his boat, enlarged his grandmother’s garage and built the bigger boat. News spread about the craftsmanship in his boats and his business took off. Three years later Clint needed more room. He bought the land and building in his present location and has continued to grow his business. One of his customers, Lafayette WorkBarge Rentals, requested bigger boats for their fleet. They were in need of boats from 32 to 42 feet. Clint added a shop crane to his shop so that he could rotate the large hulls for bottom welding. Clint works with a marine architect in the design of his boats. He also has a rigging expert available to custom rig any boat that he builds

The Ms Elizabeth has officially left the yard and is on its way to CB50 LLC in Corpus Christi, Texas.

As the second vessel in a series of three, it's always rewarding to see another boat completed and headed to work. A lot of hours go into every build, and seeing a project move from the shop floor to delivery day is something our crew takes pride in.

We appreciate the opportunity to work with CB50 LLC and look forward to completing the third vessel in the series.
