It has been overly warm today with so many 250th birthday activities offering fun and draining people's energy. The tide is high in 15 minutes. Call us, 207-865-6143 if you want to try for a quick pre-supper paddle or make arrangements for something longer tomorrow. with an incoming tide, late morning through lunch time, it could be a perfect opportunity for paddling a bit and then drifting while you enjoy a picnic lunch.

Spring is showing off all most every day now. Big boats are rapidly being commissioned and launched for the summer season.

Pretty soon the water will be warm enough for safe paddling. The water temperature needs to be 55 or more for it to be time to paddle. If you are looking forward to coming to Maine for some vacation time and would like to reserve kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes, please be in touch with us at 207-865-6143. The seasons changed quickly. Some of the trucks have their plows on and were used this morning. Yesterday's storm was an important rehearsal for winter, but the ground is not frozen yet so there are places that are too soft for plowing, particularly when the snow is mixed with rain! It was a good "tech rehearsal" to share a theatre term. The sun was brilliant today and lots of the snow shrank and some evaporated completely.
