Munson Marine has closed its doors. After 45 years in the business, Blake has retired. I will keep this page available for two more weeks from this date for anyone that may want to reach out with well wishes for his well-deserved retirement.

On March 30, 2023, Emily Hanzlik was fishing a local canal in West Palm Beach, Florida when she landed this 2.75-kilogram (6-pound, 1-ounce) bowfin. With this fish Emily can potentially set the IGFA Woman’s 2-kg (4 lb) Tippet Class World Record for the species. The potential record bowfin struck a minnow fly and was landed after a short fight. After recording the weight on her certified scale, Emily was able to release the fish safely. This record is currently pending and under review.
