🚛 PROFESSIONAL MOVING IS MORE THAN JUST LOADING A TRUCK! 💪

At 1836 Moving, protecting your belongings and your home is just as important as getting everything moved!

✅ Furniture wrapped 100% from top to bottom.
✅ Door jamb protectors, door covers, and floor runners.
✅ Extra moving blankets to protect walls, fill gaps, and secure furniture inside the trailer.

In fact, we carry more moving blankets than we could possibly use on all the furniture our trailer can hold! That’s because we use them for much more than just wrapping furniture.

Our crews know our expectations, and we continuously make sure those standards are met on every move.

This is what you should expect when hiring an experienced, licensed and insured moving company. Not just a truck and a few strong guys!

LAST-MINUTE SPECIALTY MOVE? WE’VE GOT IT. 💪

Not everything we move is a couch or a bedroom set!

We got a last-minute call on a Saturday evening to pick up this xTool P3 laser cutter from a vendor show at the Ga***rd Texan in Grapevine and deliver it to a customer’s home in Frisco.

No problem — we knocked it out. 🤘

We picked it up still packaged on its pallet, safely transported it from Grapevine to Frisco, brought it inside the customer’s home, and even helped get it set up on the table exactly where he wanted it.

Specialty items like this require a little more planning and care than your everyday furniture. Having the right equipment, the right crew, and knowing how to handle an unusual item makes all the difference.

Whether it’s a 6,500 sq. ft. home headed across the country or a single specialty item that needs to be moved last minute on a Saturday evening, we’re here to get it done.

Big move. Small move. Heavy move. Specialty move. Give us a call.

We haven’t been posting much lately — not because we’re tired, but because we’ve been busy building tiers. 💪📦

This one went Southlake ➡️ Dallas, but lately our crews have been all over the map.

Austin. San Antonio. Fort Worth. Weatherford.

And remember — we’re full service.

📦 Packing

📦 And yes… even unpacking.

From the first box packed to the last piece of furniture set in place, we can handle the entire move.

We’re licensed and insured, and if you’re wondering what kind of experience you can expect from us — our reviews might just be where you end up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The posts may have slowed down, but 1836 Moving hasn’t.

Tomorrow our team of 6 professional packers will be tackling a 4,400 sq. ft. home in Colleyville! 📦

Our trailer is loaded with everything needed—mirror cartons, dish packs, wardrobe boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, blankets, tape, and more—to make sure every item is protected from start to finish.

And we’re not stopping there. We’ll be back to move everything and then unpack the entire home, getting our customer completely settled with the same white-glove service we’re known for.

It’s this level of preparation and attention to detail that has helped build 1836 Moving.

As I was making my rounds today, I stopped by one of our moves to check on the crew and say hello to the customer as we were wrapping things up.

One thing I love doing is hearing honest feedback while the move is still happening.

The customer told me he’d used other moving companies in the past, but this experience was completely different. He said our crew was professional, hardworking, respectful of his home, and made the entire process stress-free. His exact words were that it was a “180° turnaround” from his previous moving experience.

He also told me he’d gladly use 1836 Moving again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend us to friends and family.

Moments like that remind me why we put so much emphasis on training, protecting furniture, communicating with our customers, and hiring people who genuinely care about doing the job right.

I’m incredibly proud of this crew. They represented our company exactly the way we hope every team does.

To everyone who continues to trust 1836 Moving with your homes and your belongings—thank you. Your support means everything to our family-owned business.

“This is why we hire the way we do.”

We don’t just hire people who can lift furniture.

We hire people who show up on time, treat customers with respect, communicate well, and care for every piece as if it were their own.

Robert and Eddie did exactly that, and Diane noticed.

Reviews like this are a reminder that professionalism still matters. Great job, guys! 👏
