My entire career has been shaped by one simple truth: hospitality isn’t about what you provide, it’s about how you make people feel.
A quote that has guided my work since entering the hospitality and tourism world “People will never forget how you made them feel.” - Maya Angelou
I’ve always known travel was transformative, long before it became a buzzword. As a front desk agent I saw it in the way a warm welcome could soften a long journey, or while working for a hiking company in Chile how a thoughtful service on a tour could make someone feel seen, grounded, or even inspired. And today, I see that belief echoed across a quiet shift happening in my work.
The most forward-thinking brands aren’t competing for attention anymore. They’re competing for emotional resonance.
Design, architecture, and luxury still matter but they’re no longer enough. Because how people travel has shifted over time.
We don’t just want beautiful spaces.
We want spaces that move us.
Hospitality is evolving from products to philosophies, from service providers to emotional brands.
Companies that sell awareness not just wellness. Brands that offer belonging not just ‘comfort.’ Hospitality is the art of holding space and a path I have dedicated so much of my multifaceted life to. I continue to find brands that go beyond transactions and truly transform lives.. how can I light a path for my clients to shift from guest to ‘believers’ of the good in our great world.
