Anyone looking for a fun and different way to make some extra money? We are looking for some drone pilots for the upcoming summer season. Pilots must be highly motivated, knowledgeable of computers and software and be willing to learn new programs. The job will consist of flying customer fields across Illinois, eastern Iowa, Missouri, Northern Arkansas, western Tennessee and Kentucky. The pilot will be paid driving mileage and will be paid a set amount per acre flown. We will also reimburse for hotel stays if needed. We will train on our UAV to make sure the pilot is ready to fly on their own. A UAV remote pilot license is required and we will help with acquiring that license if needed. We have been busy over the last couple of months flying in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Missouri. We have flown wheat, soybeans, corn and cotton fields. We are pleased to announce DAM Drones will be partnering with Aker Technologies Inc. to offer a complete and innovative solution in evaluating crop health to enable precision farming. DAM Drones LLC will be using our eBee SQ agricultural drone to capture crop data across four multi-spectral bands, plus RGB imagery, spanning hundreds of acres in a single flight. This data will be collected for the fields that you specify. Upon completion of the data collection in your fields, we will upload all of the data to Aker Technologies Inc. to be analyzed by their professional agronomists so that you can scout yield impacted areas first. Once this is completed you can view the data via the free AkerScout app or download geotiff and shapefiles from the Aker online dashboard. These NDVI data indexes can be used in your standard ag software for prescription maps. We are looking forward to becoming an important asset for co-ops and farmers to maximize their yield potential and help them to advance their businesses using this cutting edge technology.
