Our team focused on suspension trauma response—practicing the critical steps of safely lowering a patient to the ground, conducting thorough assessment and treatment, and remaining vigilant for signs of reflow syndrome.

We are privileged to work alongside an outstanding group of pre-hospital providers who consistently prepare with dedication and professionalism for every challenge that arises. As we look ahead to Year 3, we are energized by the opportunities before us—the best is truly yet to come!

🇺🇸 Badgerland EMS had the absolute honor to join Freedom Honor Flight #35 out of La Crosse on the early morning of Monday, September 7, 2026 to es**rt local veterans to Washington DC for monument and memorial tours. Medical coverage was provided in conjunction with staff from Gundersen AIR, Tri- State Ambulance, Gundersen ER and Badgerland EMS. Our role in the entire process on the honor flight is to ensure our Veterans are safe and to make sure any medical needs are managed immediately for the Veterans on this flight. Medical coverage was provided in conjunction with Sean and Chris from Tri-State Ambulance, Jeremy from Gundersen AIR, Mike from Badgerland EMS and Dr Ivan from Gundersen. What an amazing organization to oraganize this for our local veterans and absolute honor to support!! 🫡 🇺🇸

Help us congratulate Erin Miller, one of our EMTs, on successfully completing the Paramedic Program through Western Technical College 🚑👏

Completing a full-time paramedic program is no small accomplishment—and Erin managed to do it while working full-time as a firefighter with the City of La Crosse and part-time with Badgerland EMS. Talk about keeping busy! 💪

Erin, your dedication, hard work, and commitment to continuing your education are truly something to be proud of. We’re excited to watch you take the next step in your career and make the transition to Paramedic here at Badgerland EMS!

We’re excited to recognize Critical Care Paramedic and co-owner John Krause (right side of the picture) for successfully completing the first year of the Medical Transport Leadership Institute (MTLI)!

In keeping with Badgerland EMS’s commitment to excellence, this program gave John the opportunity to learn from respected industry leaders on topics including leadership, professionalism, and key elements of the pre-hospital care system. He also had the valuable chance to network with local EMS providers, which helps strengthen collaboration across services in western Wisconsin.
