ok now that the road bond was voted down... what next? Anyone have an idea or news or word from the upperlings of municipality? Questions... 1. Was the Rayford expansion / bridge over railway (gotta' love the bridge) included in the bond projects? 2. Will it happen without the bond support?

funny thing... starting at the railroad tracks heading east on Rayford on both sides of the road and going about the length of about a quarter mile, virtually every upright structure or pole or sign has a pink splotch on it about 1'- 3' from the ground. The pink splotch is actually about the size of a golf ball. Everything that seems to be within 30'-40' from the edge of the pavement is marked. This seems to have been marked around a month ago. So.... what's the plan, being that much of the surveying (much of the surveying has been done for quite a while) and this marking is done with the appearance that construction will begin soon, even thought the vote is tomorrow.
gotta love the bridge.

Coming soon... Rayford Road Diaries. There has been much publicized about the upcoming bond vote for Rayford Road construction, specifically the lane widening and bridge over the railroad tracks. Well... it just so happens that the bridge will be built right outside the front door of the business my wife and I operate. Hip - Hip - Hooray! Love the bridge! I'll try my best to give up to the minute (between naps) coverage of the progress. Until then... Happy driving!
