Since the Effingham Herald published the article about Southeast Packers, we have gained quite a few new followers to our page so let's re-introduce ourselves!
We are the Zoller Family, Andy, Amanda, Vivian And Rahn Zoller owners of Southeast Packers, LLC located in Springfield, Ga. We run a custom processing and butchering of livestock for local livestock producers in Effingham County as well as surrounding counties. We also process wild game during the months of October to January.
We are were formally known as Zoller Processing and in October of 2022 officially became Southeast Packers.
Andy is a 3rd generation butcher and at a young age would go with his dad and Uncle to Ratchford's meat market before school and help butcher hogs and cattle. After graduation, Andy continued to work with his Uncle Irvin doing custom butchering and processing for local farmers in the county as well help him during the hunting season with wild game skinning and processing. In 2017 the dream began of owning and operating his very own slaughter and processing facility.
In September 2021 Andy was given the opportunity to leave his 9 to 5 job and start pursuing his dream of opening up a slaughter/processing plant. Andy's late Uncle, Irvin Zoller, allowed him to start his business at his place aka "The Dog Yard". Uncle Irvin believed that Andy could make the processing business great again and he believed that he could have a successful business for him and his family. We owe many thanks to Uncle Irvin and Aunt Susan for allowing us to start our business in their backyard. In the fall of 2026 SEP will officially have a brand new 5,000 sqft USDA inspected slaughter and processing facility as well as a retail meat market for us to share our passion with the community.
Andy is also 5th generation farmer and continues to help and run the family commercial cattle operation along side his father and wife, Amanda, Amanda also comes from a farming family and she is 4th generation farmer. Amanda works alongside Andy in the daily operations of SEP and their cattle operation. She also works full time with the Effingham County School District at Effingham County High School.
Andy and Amanda's children, Vivian and Rahn, keep them very busy in their off time with showing livestock, spending time in the river fishing or in the woods hunting. Vivian is a 6th grader at Ebenezer Middle School. She shows livestock for her local FFA chapter in the Georgia Junior circuit. She is also in the band at EMS. Rahn is a 4th grader at Springfield Elementary and enjoys working on the farm or in the river fishing with his dad and grandfathers.
The Zollerβs look forward to working with you and all of your custom processing needs!
