The Solo Series began in 2014. Over the past eight years, I took on the responsibility of growing a local bass fishing circuit for both anglers and sponsors.
From day one, our goal was to give back to anglers in multiple ways—through payouts, product support, and media exposure that created real opportunities to advance their fishing careers. At the same time, we aimed to provide sponsors with a platform that hadn’t been offered in over a decade. I believe we achieved that goal by growing boat counts from 30 to over 100, becoming the only circuit to offer a no–entry-fee tournament, and producing video content that increased visibility and publicity for both anglers and sponsors.
A huge thank you to our staff for their creativity, long days and nights at tournaments, adaptability through constant changes, and consistent communication with anglers. Your dedication and commitment made this series possible.
Due to staff members having other obligations, my health, and the beginning of my retirement journey, I have made the decision to pause the Solo Pro Series tournament trail until further notice.
It has been a true honor and a genuine pleasure to meet so many incredible people along the way. I wish each of you continued success in your fishing careers, and I hope another tournament circuit emerges that offers no entry fees, meaningful media exposure, and real opportunities for anglers to make money fishing.
