I’ve been keeping a secret from everyone for the past year, and it’s time I came clean.
My sister shop, ModHausPrints, is officially on Faire and I’m now accepting orders via DM and email.
Part of the reason I began my bookish shop, is because I wanted to be able to provide fun, interesting, and affordable bookish merch for other readers, at a scale that makes them accessible to everyone.
Over the past four years as my business has evolved, I’ve grown and stretched myself in ways I hadn’t thought I could. In doing so, I’ve realized that it is literally almost impossible to find blanks to use to craft with for my shop back when I was just starting out, that did not come from Amazon, or that wasn’t the same exact bases that literally everyone else had. It made me feel stifled and frustrated because I couldn’t find things that I wanted to use in my shop.
So I started expanding and buying equipment. Over the years I have invested every single dollar that this shop makes back into the business. I’ve never paid myself anything. That has allowed me to really focus on investing in my business and learning how to create more things.
Now, four years later, I’m still growing and learning and expanding, and I’m always striving to find any gaps in my niche that I could fill. And with my sister shop, ModHausPrints, I hope to begin to do just that.
Right now my inveotry in blanks is limited but I’m working behind the scenes to create more blanks and designs, and bring more blank product lines to this sister shop.
These products are for other businesses to use to create something interesting and unique for their business, to help you stand apart from the crowd.
