St. Marys isn’t just a waterfront.
It’s where life unfolds.

A final adventure with a best friend.
A father’s last dance before deployment.
A mother catching her breath.
A daily walk through the marsh.

Boating, dining, and shopping are fun.
But the real value of a place is what it holds for the people who live there.

Thank you to everyone who shared their stories.
They remind us what truly makes a community.

📣 Quick Community FAQ – St. Marys Waterfront Conversation

Thank you for all the thoughtful questions. Here’s a quick update:

📍 Location: We’re exploring the former mill waterfront site near Cumberland Inlet. The property is currently held by the Camden County JDA — we do not own it, and it’s still in legal/RFP process.

🚧 Status: Nothing is finalized. Right now we’re simply gathering community input and validating demand so that if this moves forward, it’s grounded in real need and responsible planning.

🌱 Environment: The site already underwent environmental due diligence and qualifies for Georgia’s Brownfield Program. Any future work would require additional review and Georgia EPD oversight. For us, environmental responsibility also means respecting St. Marys’ history, charm, and working waterfront — not overbuilding it.

⚓ What we’re exploring: Storm-resilient dry storage (Category 4–rated), keeping more of the river open by storing boats vertically, stabilizing a long-neglected site, and fueling on land (not dockside) to reduce spill risk. In St. Augustine, this approach earned Certified Green Marina recognition.

💰 Rent or buy? We’re exploring both options based on community demand.

📩 Stay in the loop: If you’d like updates when pricing or availability becomes clearer, message us your name, boat length, email, and phone number.

Our goal is simple: protect boats during storms, restore a neglected waterfront, and create something practical that honors St. Marys’ character while serving local families and boaters.

Thank you for being part of the conversation. 💙⚓

🎥 A look at what’s possible.

This short video shows the transformation we’ve helped bring to St. Augustine Shipyard — and what we hope to one day create with St. Marys Shipyard.

This isn’t about hype. It’s about:

⚓ restoring underutilized waterfront property
⚓ supporting working marinas + local fishermen
⚓ thoughtful cleanup and reuse of brownfield sites
⚓ creating spaces that serve families, boaters, and the community

We believe in responsible development — honoring local history while investing in long-term vitality.

Shoutout to the Rotary Club of Camden County. We love seeing initiatives like this making a tangible difference for families right here in our community. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, local kids (birth–5) receive a free book every month — helping build early literacy and a lifelong love of reading.

This is the kind of effort that strengthens communities from the inside out. Thank you to everyone involved.

Love to see it! 💙

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been engaging, asking thoughtful questions, sharing photos, and offering feedback.

This page — and the photo contest — were created as a way to connect with the community, surface perspectives, and celebrate St. Marys’ relationship with the waterfront while larger public processes continue.

We see the questions around environmental stewardship, nonprofit partnerships, and long-term impact — and that dialogue is exactly why we’re here.

Your input matters. We’re actively listening and incorporating community feedback as we move forward. This early engagement helps shape how we approach partnerships, priorities, and outreach as we work toward earning support through the appropriate public channels, including the Camden County Joint Development Authority.

Our goal is simple: to work with the community, not around it — and to build something that reflects shared values of environmental care, local history, and long-term prosperity.

Thank you for being part of the conversation. Please keep the ideas, questions, and stories coming.

There’s something special about the waterfront in St. Marys, Georgia — the people, the wildlife, the quiet mornings, and the memories made on the water.

While the shipyard site remains under the oversight of the Camden County Joint Development Authority, we’re here as a prospective master developer simply creating space for community connection and celebrating what already makes this place meaningful.

Thank you for being part of it. If you’re new here, follow along for local stories, waterfront moments, and community updates. 💙

And if you’d like to share what St. Marys means to you, join our GoGo photo contest — we’d love to see it through your lens.

Hi everyone — we’ve received a few great questions about St. Marys Shipyard, so we wanted to share a quick clarification.

A few things to know:

• The property is currently under the oversight of the Camden County Joint Development Authority and moving through a formal public process.
• Large redevelopment projects involve multiple legal, administrative, and community steps before any official plans are released.
• At this time, there are no finalized development plans available for public viewing. When information becomes public, it will be shared through official channels.

Our current photo contest is simply a grassroots community activity celebrating St. Marys, Georgia, its waterfront, and the people who love this area.

We truly appreciate the community’s interest and engagement. Thoughtful input matters, and when opportunities arise to participate in the public process, we encourage everyone to get involved.

Thank you for helping keep this positive and community-centered. 💙
