Stafford Z Scale is a replica train layout of downtown Stafford Springs Connecticut. Z Scale is a model train size = to 1/220 or 220 times smaller than actual size. Started in January 2003 and in the next few years I took photos of the buildings on main street. Using Photoshop I removed all objects that were not the buildings (cars, wires, trees etc…). I then scaled them down 220 times smaller an

d created the photo real buildings you see now. Main street is ever changing, just in the few years I have been working on the layout the landscape of main street has changed many times, and I'm sure will continue to change. Stafford Z Scale is a snapshot in time. I hope you enjoy this site and any memories of the way it use to be. please browse through the photos and videos and check back often as this is always a work in progress.
