🚧Roadwork Notice 🚧 The sewer line installation project impacting 72nd Ave NW and Pioneer Highway is wrapping up. Today, crews will be grinding pavement in the areas impacted by construction with paving happening tomorrow.

Please plan for traffic delays and detours while this project is completed and thank you for your patience.

The City of Stanwood is taking proactive steps to address significant winter storm damage to the Skagit Bay D**e, located west of Stanwood. Mayor Roberts recently signed an emergency declaration to accelerate emergency repairs to the most damaged section of the levee as early as this summer, pending permit approval. The century-old D**e separates the City of Stanwood and surrounding farmland from the Puget Sound and plays a critical role in protecting homes, businesses and infrastructure. ⚠️Emergency Water Shutoff Notice ⚠️

City utility crews are responding to a major water leak after a cattle truck damaged a valve cluster near 89th Ave & 288th St. To complete emergency repairs, water service will be temporarily shut off for customers in the following areas:

• 286th
• 288th
• 88th
• 89th
• Skrinde Road
• Pioneer Highway north of city limits

Crews are hoping to restore service within a couple of hours. Thank you for your patience while repairs are completed.

Heritage Park's Intro to Pickleball Classes are back! 🏓 Come learn the basics of America’s fastest-growing sport while having fun and meeting new people. Beginner classes are FREE for new players, ages 18+. Paddles provided if needed. Space is limited to 12 participants per session. We have exciting news! Low-income tenants, age 62+ and individuals with disabilities may now qualify for the City of Stanwood's Utility Rebate Program. Residents whose utility costs are included in rent or paid to a landlord, HOA, or other third party may be eligible for an annual rebate check to help offset utility costs.

Clean Sweep was a sweeping success! Every year, this community favorite event brings neighbors together to keep Stanwood looking its best and this year was no exception. A huge shoutout to our incredible Public Works team for organizing another smooth and successful free garbage day for the community.

We’re also grateful to our partners at WM and Stanwood-Camano Kiwanis for your support. And a special thank you to the Stanwood-Camano Community Fair for welcoming us to the Fairgrounds this year.
