🚌🚒 **Training Together. Keeping Our Communities Safe.**

Tonight, members of the Fullington Bus Company had the opportunity to spend the evening with the **Columbia Fire Company** providing hands-on school bus safety and emergency response training.

We brought a school bus to their station and worked through a variety of scenarios with their members, reviewing our procedures and demonstrating important features of our buses, including emergency exits, roof hatches, windows, manual door operation, battery shutoff procedures, and communication with bus dispatch.

Training with our local emergency responders is incredibly important. When an incident involving a school bus occurs, every second matters, and having firefighters familiar with our equipment and procedures can make a tremendous difference.

We greatly appreciate the Columbia Volunteer Fire Company for taking the time to train with us and for their continued commitment to protecting our students and community.

A special thank you to **Shane and Beth** for helping make tonight’s training possible, and to all of the Columbia Fire Company members who participated.
