We forgot to post this. It is winterization season, for better or worse. Is it worth it, yes. When we winterize, we use marine non alcohol antifreeze that prevents freeze damage and corrosion. We fog the cylinders with fogging oil. The advantage of fogging oil prevents rust and corrosion in the combustion chamber and cylinders. We stabilize the entire fuel system. We have seen up to five years of protection for your fuel system. Which means money saving from having carburetor or injection system issues. We check the drive or transmission for water. We l**e the grease zerks on the drive. We also check the belts for any cracks. We also drain and winterize all water and ballast systems your boat has. We even do the aerator pumps on fishing boats as some systems contain water that can freeze and crack causing a severe water leak. Oil and filter is extra. We only use marine rated oil as it has a higher shear point to prevent breakdown at the high rpm’s that the marine engines run. We also shrinkwrap. From boats to combine headers and everything in between. It is the best way to store your boat outside. When it snows, you won’t have to worry. Our shrinkwrap is bridged so you won‘t have go out and push the snow off. A big benefit if we have a large heavy snow. The weight of the snow laying in a unbridged cover can cause window breakage. We have seen it. With our winterization system, you can go through the winter not having to worry. This is our 28th year using this system.
