The smaller rollers were fully assembled right here in our shop.

But before final assembly, they went through one more step โ€” painting.

That finish added durability and helped protect the rollers for long-term use in the system.

Once painted, the components came back for final assembly.

That level of control helped ensure a consistent, ready-to-install final product.

โฑ๏ธ Timelapse Thursday

Welding all the pucks onto the shaft โ€” start to finish.

What took hours on the shop floor, condensed into seconds.

This step played a key role in building the structural stability these rollers needed to perform.

Precision. Consistency. Repeatability.

Thatโ€™s how it came together.

๐Ÿ”ฅ This is where it came together.

We welded brackets and attached pucks to shafts to give these rollers the structural strength they needed to perform.

Everything had to line up.
Everything had to hold.

From cut parts to finished assemblies โ€” this is where it became real.

Once parts were cut and formed, welding began.

Our team welded brackets together and attached pucks to the shafts, creating the structural stability needed for the rollers to perform in the system.

โ€ข Laser-cut parts
โ€ข Formed components
โ€ข Machined shafts with keyways

Proper fit-up and consistent welds made the difference.

Because at this stage, every detail mattered โ€” both for strength and long-term performance.

When it was done right, everything fit like it should.

And this project did.

After the laser finished its work, the results spoke for themselves.

Clean cuts. Accurate geometry. Parts ready for the next step.

These components were built to fit together consistently during welding and assembly โ€” which helped keep the entire project on track.

Less rework. Better fit-up. Faster production.

This is why laser cutting carried so much weight on this job.

Next: a small step that still mattered โ€” forming.

Laser cutting played a major role in this project โ€” and this is what it looked like in real time.

We cut key components for both roller sizes in-house, giving us the control and precision needed to keep everything moving.

Fast cuts. Clean edges. Consistent results.

When parts were right from the start, everything downstream got easier.

More to come on what these parts looked like once they came off the table.

A 42-foot pipe didnโ€™t stay 42 feet for long.

The first step was cutting the material down into usable sections.

That 42-foot length of pipe was broken into roller blanks that would move through the rest of the process.

But that wasnโ€™t the only material involved.

We also worked with 1 15/16" steel round bar, which our machinists cut to size and machined keyways into for proper fit and function within the roller assemblies.

Getting these steps right mattered.

Clean cuts. Accurate machining. Consistent parts.

It made everything downstream โ€” welding, assembly, and final fit-up โ€” more efficient.

This is where the project really started taking shape.
