🚚 Stertil-Koni's First Take Your Child to Work Day! 🚚

We kicked off summer by welcoming 14 children and grandchildren of our employees to Stertil-Koni USA headquarters in Stevensville, MD.

The day started with breakfast, welcome bags, and "Office Passports" designed to help our young guests explore the office, meet team members, and learn about each department.

One of the highlights was a hands-on mobile lift demonstration where the kids got to see the equipment in action and even help operate it!

After touring the office, collecting stamps in their passports, coloring, and enjoying lunch and outdoor fun, everyone left with new knowledge and great memories.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make our first Take Your Child to Work Day a success (Julie Thomas, Keli Kirby, Tim Kerr, Kate Edwards, and Ethan Nelson) —we can't wait to do it again! 🎉

Stertil-Koni USA just completed our certified factory training for technicians from our exclusive distributor network at our headquarters in Stevensville, MD. 🛠️

We take pride in educating these technicians to ensure top-notch service for our certified lifts. This training helps our end users maximize uptime in their facilities, allowing them to maintain critical operations effectively and safely.

We had a special guest today as The Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation Sean Duffy stopped by our booth here at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

We were able to take Sean through a demo of our ST-1085 mobile columns and our new HDLT-20 lifting table with the help of Tom Kelly, Boaz E., and Brent Newman of our local distributor SLE Technologies, Inc. as well as Steve Plomin and Walter Moore.

We are very excited to be exhibiting again at the Mid-America Trucking Show here in Louisville, KY.

The highlight of this year is the official debut of the all new Stertil-Koni HDLT-20 Heavy Duty Lifting Table with an industry leading 4,400lbs of capacity!

The HDLT-20 is designed for use in maintenance applications allowing the technician to remove heavy vehicle components such engines, entire powertrains, drivetrains, chassis components and EV batteries, EV components and assemblies.

As with all Stertil-Koni products, safety is the standard. The lifting table has 17 mechanical locking positions, an emergency stop and a foot brake to ensure safe control and operation.

The table features precision control with adjustable lifting/lowering speeds, standard smart adjusters for roll and pitch for safe loading and unloading of heavy components.

The table is battery powered for a true cable-free design for complimentary use with our mobile column lifts as well as our 2-post FREEDOMLIFT.

Stertil-Koni was proud to sponsor the Rising Star Award at this year's United Motorcoach Association (UMA) Maintenance Competition in Birmingham, Alabama. We want to extend our biggest congratulations to Kurt Johnson of Lorenz Bus Service, and Noah Lineburg of Windstar Lines - who both received the auspicious award. 🏆

The industry’s best compete each year at UMA’s Maintenance Competition. Held in conjunction with the Maintenance Interchange, the annual Maintenance Competition is for those who wish to test their technical knowledge and skills against the clock and North America’s top bus and motorcoach mechanics. The competition is composed of a written exam and hands-on motorcoach inspections, both designed to be difficult and to require detailed knowledge of maintenance issues and safety regulations.

Way to go, Kurt and Noah! Looking forward to seeing what will come next from these top mechanics. ⭐

On a balmy 24-degree afternoon on January 30, a group of fearless Stertil-Koni team members packed up early from work, grabbed their special hot pink branded gear, and hit the road for the short trip across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge for their (Stertil-Koni’s) 10th Annual Polar Bear Plunge, benefiting Special Olympics Maryland.

Lead by Stertil-Koni Warehouse Manager, Rich Weinreich, the team was able to raise $2,450 this year. Joining Rich for the frigid festivities were Stertil-Koni team members Ryan Allen, Robyn Collier, Amelia Cox, Jackie Cullison, Kate Edwards, Emmaleigh Gibbs, Douglas Frakes, Tim Kerr, Tammy Mitchell, Mike Nichols, Emmi Patti, Helena Robinson, Julie Thomas, along with friends and family.
