Take the cable car up from Lauterbrunnen to Murren for a mountain view that is incredible. The view from Wengen is just as good.

It’s just 20 minutes from Venice, but lots of tourists skip it. But Murano should not be missed!

Seeing a glass blower pull molten hot glass into a true piece of art right in front of you is truly mesmerizing. It was one of my favorite experiences on a Mediterranean cruise.

“Premium all-inclusive” gets thrown around a lot. Most of the time, it’s not actually true.

With a true premium resort, every restaurant is included, not just the buffet. Top-shelf liquor is included, not the bottom shelf with a fancy label. Excursions and transfers are built in.

My mom and I sailed the Rhine together once, and one thing still surprises people who’ve never river cruised.

Our driver dropped us about a hundred feet from the ship. By the time we reached our cabin, our bags were already there waiting.

No carousel. No waiting for hours. That’s river cruising.
